About the wine

Chiara Boschis's Barolo comes from the renowned Cannubi location in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. The dainty entrepreneur studied economics before taking over the farm of traditional winemaker and winemaker Pira, who proudly stated on his labels “stomped with her feet.” Chiara Boschi has made a U-turn in vinification; her cannubi is characterized by elegance, full fruit and fineness and is an accessible, radiant treat even when young. The Barolo from the Via Nuovo location directly above the pretty winery is also in large format and is one of the best wines in the region.
