About the wine

Winemaking is above all an instinctive understanding of balance... The miracle of a humble young vine that grows and eventually produces its own fruit can only be achieved if all four natural elements are combined in harmony. Air in the form of oxygen, water in the form of annual rainfall, fire in the form of precious sunlight and earth in the form of healthy soil and terroir must all work in harmony to produce the abundance of nature. Likewise, those who lovingly take care of the fruit and its vinification must know when to intervene and when to retreat to always let Mother Nature take its course. For the next chapter in the history of Broken Barrel, we've chosen Roussanne, Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Marsanne to create a rich, structured and balanced blend.
