About the wine
With the powerful red wine 2011 — Cabernet Sauvignon del Friuli DOC Nexus, nuances and accents are redefined. The fertile and blooming landscapes of Friuli give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery San Simone conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with Gruyère burgers or red meat.
Tasting note
Color: Dense ruby red, iridescent garnet reflections. Aromas: dark berry bouquet, compote-like, dried fruits, spicy-roasted, tobacco, leather, fresh peppers, caramel, earthy, smoky nuance. Body: Medium-bodied body, balanced structure, palate aromas, sweet in the mouth, warming on the finish, long aftertaste with a subtle tart touch. Quality: Centred French-style wine, perfectly aged.
