About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Félix Callejo has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the beautiful and graceful landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). If you're looking for something special, then you can't miss out on this fresh Tempranillo 2016 — Callejo Tinto DO Flores de Callejo. Tasting note
A fruity, powerful Ribera del Duero for everyday use. The brief aging in new barriques gives it an elegant note without masking the typical aromas of blackberries and plums.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lasagna and pizza but also with lamb and beef as well as with spicy, spicy dishes.
Vinification
Mash fermentation at a controlled temperature for 10 days, BSA at 20° C, followed by 4-month aging in barriques.
