Tasting note
With brilliant clarity with a fresh green tint, the Allesverloren Chenin Blanc presents itself in a glass and invites you with a bouquet of yellow apple, fresh lime and subtle pencil lead. Medium-bodied, this freshly unwooded chenin pampers with delicious nuances of ripe stone fruit, a well-balanced acidity and an incredibly soft and elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, fish dishes and white poultry.
Vinification
The hand-picked grapes come from bush vines in the picturesque Swartland region. After squeezing the berries, the juice was first slightly clarified and then mixed with selected yeast cultures. After the alcoholic fermentation was completed, the wine spent another 3 months on the fermentation yeast before being bottled for fresh enjoyment.
