The Ferragamo family's Azienda IL Borro has long been famous for its masterful red wines. The fact that there are also excellent conditions here for long-lasting, well-structured white wines has always been in the shadow of the big red ones. The new version of the single-varietal Chardonnay, fermented and matured in small wooden barrels, is at the top of the family. It shows a lot of race, substance, with a nice sweet/acid content. The biodynamic viticulture that Salvatore Ferragamo has cultivated since the beginning of this century strengthens the expression of the personality of this exciting wine.
