About the wine

The San Valentino winery is located on a hill near Rimini. It has been managed biodynamically by Roberto Mascarin since 1997 and the star oenologist from Italy, Luca D'Attoma, has been advising him since 2016. His Terra di Covignano is considered one of the best Sangioveses in Italy and was awarded three glasses by Gambero Rosso.

Tasting note
Intense nose of dark wild berries, plums, dried flowers, herbs, cocoa and fine spicy notes. On the palate, Cabernet Franc is powerful with fine, almost velvety tannins and a persistent spicy finish. Only 1,200 bottles were produced!
Culinary recommendation

Vinification
The Cabernet Franc matures for 18 to 20 months in 60% new and 40% used French barriques.
