Morellino di Scansano Riserva Purosangue DOCG2019- Terenzi

The still young winery (founded in 2002) owned by the Terenzi family proves with its entire range (including two enchanting white wines and an excellent Bordelaiser Assemblage) highest professionalism. Even the base wine, Morellino di Scansano, inspires us year after year as more accessible, lighter and more harmonious table wine. The Riserva, on the other hand, meets the expectations that we place in a wine made from selected grapes to a particular extent. It comes from older vineyards, including those that planted the Terenzi in their early days. The wine matures in wooden barrels, partly in so-called tonneaux with a capacity of 650 liters (i.e. not barriques of 225 liters), partly in large oak barrels. This is how a process takes place that integrates and rounds off the lush structure with juicy tannins, without the fresh To cover the aroma with notes of wood. The wine is extremely pleasant with a discreet opulence and is considered a real discovery.
