About the wine
The history of the family began in 1954, when Emilio Fuselli, a Marche farmer who had emigrated to Bolgheri in Tuscany, bought a piece of land from the Marquis Incisa della Rocchetta. Agricultural use of the land allowed him to build a house, the foundation of the family. After him, his son Aldo continued to run the company. He acquired land and began producing olive oil. But it was Maurizio who — after gaining 10 years of experience at Antinori's winery — took over the management of the business. He restructured it from the ground up and specialized it entirely in the production of wine. His great passion for the land, inherited from his grandfather Emilio, his stated goal of increasing quality, and his extensive knowledge of the cultivation and production of wine enabled Maurizio to further refine his skills and finally create the wine cellar: small but innovative and functional, with the The intention to combine the unadulterated tradition with the advanced methods of winemaking. The first harvest took place in 2003, with the “Emilio Primo “, so named in honor of his grandfather, who had inspired Maurizio and pioneered him.
