Tasting note
Deep deep deep red. Strong scent of wild berries, plums, pepper and tobacco. Full, powerful wine with lots of spice, solid structure and lots of juicy fruit. Well balanced thanks to fresh acidity. Very long-lasting with fruit and some cloves. Very elegant and structured. Good for storage too!
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The organic red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 15°-18°C. Flaschenpöstler recommend this Puro Corte d'Oro for pizza with mushrooms, red meat and Gruyère burgers.
Vinification
Organically grown and vegan certified. The grapes for the top wine from the Puro line are harvested in April, immediately brought to the winery and fermented in a concrete tank at controlled temperatures of 27 to 29 °C. In order to give the wine more aromatic richness and a fine structure, the wines are placed after complete alcoholic fermentation in French oak barrels (from the first and second vintages), in which they finally mature harmoniously over a period of around twelve months.
