Tasting note
Deep red color. A complex bouquet bursting with cinnamon, pepper, Mediterranean herbs, ripe fruits, blackberries, blueberries, plums, and balsamic hints. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and layered, with smooth, elegant tannins, lively acidity, subtle minerality, and a long, pleasant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Pairs brilliantly with roast lamb, beef, game dishes, stews, Iberico pork, mushrooms, aged cheeses, and hearty Mediterranean flavors.
Vinification
Each grape variety is fermented separately. The Monastrell undergoes a gentle, roughly 20-day maceration. Part of the malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels. Then the wine ages for 14 months in barrels before resting in the bottle in the cellar, ready to be enjoyed.
