About the wine
The newcomer in Germany in recent years. 5 years ago, no one knew the business of Tobias and Björn Knewitz (both around 25 years old) from Appenheim, today it is a top winery. It has excellent sites whose limestone soils are ideal for the production of racy and mineral plants. And that's what the wines from Knewitz are: full-bodied, dense, with clear and expressive aromas and beautiful minerality and length. When it comes to Riesling, the brothers are regularly at their best.

Tasting note
Fresh and fruity on the nose, notes of ripe citrus and wild herbs. Fruitful on the palate, very expressive, youthful, fine acidity, strong salty limestone minerality. Great length Very demanding Riesling with a great future! Far away from the mainstream!

Flaschenpöstler tip: Riesling Appenheimer Rheinhessen goes perfectly with Indian cuisine, prawns and Asian food.

Maceration time, gentle pressing, fermentation with the grape's own yeasts in stainless steel tanks and traditional wooden barrels
