About the wine

Stèfen is the original name of the De Stefani family; this is clear from old documents from 1624 found in Refrontolo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The grapes of this wine grow in the “Stèfen 1624” vineyard and winemaking uses a special production technique that involves drying the grapes in accordance with old tradition and a long refinement of the wine in small oak barrels. The result is a dry wine that improves over the years.
