The NV Champagne Brut Argilité was made from half Chardonnay and half Pinot Meunier grapes from the 2015 vintage, which come from the Notre Dame vineyard. The base wine was fermented in amphorae (without skins) for ten months. This exceptional champagne has a scent of a fresh citrus fruit bouquet that appears clear and pure. The palate is very round and fruity, delicate and aromatic with a charming note, despite “zero dosage”. No malolactic fermentation, no fining. After five years of yeast storage in the bottle, the champagne was disgorged in July 2021. A minimum quantity of 900 bottles was produced.
