About the product
The Tomatin distillery is located in the Monadhliath Mountains south of Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands. Illegal distilleries are part of Scotland's history; as a distillery, illegal or otherwise, Tomatin has existed since the 15th century. Back then, cattle drivers in particular, who came to the Tomatin market with their cattle across the high passes, filled their hip flasks in the distillery in the old laird house. The Laird House is right next to the current distillery buildings. The official distillery was established in 1897 and at 315 meters above sea level, it is one of the highest in Scotland. Vanilla beans, marshmallows and fresh aanas mixed with sweet limes. Taste: Light and delicate with caramel sweetness. Once again, citrus and pineapple combined with light pepper. Finish: Pure and light. Barrel type: bourbon barrels and fresh oak barrels
