About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Fattoria Zerbina masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the fertile and blooming Emilia-Romagnaa landscape. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 — Torre di Ceparano Romagna Sangiovese Superiore Riserva DOC. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Cabernet Sauvignon is excellent with red meat or ribeye steak.
Tasting note
The bouquet exudes tobacco, violets, vanilla, but also raspberries, soft on the palate, round with notes of cocoa and spices.
Culinary recommendation
Pot roast, potato gratin, pasta with meat sauce, truffles, aged cheese.
Vinification
Aged for 12 months in barriques and 12 months in bottle.
