About the wine

Bio
Tasting note
Foglia Tonda is an autochthonous grape variety from the Chianti region and was almost forgotten until the beginning of the 90s. Few wineries have rediscovered their authenticity and have grown them more frequently in recent years. In the glass, the Uno di Noi shows a vivid ruby red with purple reflections. The bouquet is extremely fresh, complex and features pure fruit. On the palate, it impresses with its delicate texture, finesse and complexity. The fine tannins are harmoniously integrated into the wine, and the long and intense aftertaste impressively rounds off the positive overall picture.

Vinification
The grapes are vinified separately by variety, the temperature-controlled fermentation is completed after approx. 10 days. The aging phase lasts 12 months and takes place one third in new barriques and two thirds in used barriques. The wine is then assembled in steel tanks where it is briefly left to rest before bottling.
