About the wine

This powerful Corvina 2015 — Valpolicella Ripasso "Gaso" DOC crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Corvina is ideal to serve with recent types of cheese or hearty meat dishes.
Tasting note
The Ripasso Gaso has a garnet red color and has a pleasant scent of prunes and plums. Very concentrated fruit on the palate with aromas of bitter almonds and ripe berries. Rounded, long-lasting finish.

Vinification
After traditional mash fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, the second fermentation takes place on Amarone's pomace. The Ripasso then matures in both large oak barrels and barriques for 24 months.
