Tasting note
An expression of our winemaker's ultimate creativity, Extra Brut Extra Old is a unique collection made exclusively from our Reserve wine collection, one of the largest registered collections in Champagne. The fourth edition of Extra Brut Extra Old is a unique blend of six of the most prestigious reserve wines from Veuve Clicquot: 1996, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014. This cuvée undergoes a double aging process and spends at least 2 years in barrels before blending and then at least another 3 years in the bottle, resulting in a total aging period of at least 5 years.
Culinary recommendation
Purity and freshness (raw vegetables, refined cuisine, tartare, ceviche) saltiness and energy (umami, citrus peel, seafood) fineness and precision (silky texture, delicate combinations).
