Tasting note
Vicoregio 36 is the quintessence of research on the Sangiovese grape at Castello di Fonterutoli. The grapes come from a trial vineyard that was planted under ideal climatic conditions for Sangiovese: 36 different Sangiovese biotypes, including 18 mass selections from Fonterutoli's old vineyards, which produce a purebred Chianti Classico Gran Selezione. It shows great intensity, lots of depth of color and a strong, intense bouquet.
