About the wine

The grapes come from more than 25 years old vines grown as “Alberello” (trees). Shortly before coloring, a few grapes are removed from each vine in order to limit the yield to 70 hl/ha (approx. 900 g per m2). The Càntele family founded the company in 1979. With continuous quality research, Augusto Càntele as oenologist and Nico Càntele as administrative director for the company have won an important position among the wineries and wineries of Salento.
