About the wine
Château La Favière presents great Bordeaux wines that are ready to drink, full of power and elegance, which touch all the senses with their harmony. Château la Favière is located in Saint-Surin sur l'Isle in the Saint-Emilion area. The typical grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grow on 18.5 hectares. The soil is a mixture of sand and gravel, with a layer of clay in the subsoil. Thanks to the oceanic climate, the grapes ripen perfectly.
Tasting note
60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon come together for this harmonious, very sustainable wine. After 12 months of aging in oak barriques, it shows a generous, black-red color and a bouquet of great precision, which combines the sweet aromas of ripe berries with the autumnal scent of undergrowth. The palate is surrounded by a delicate harmony and a beautiful volume of dense and mild tannins. A wine that lingers on for a long time.

Goes well with grilled or roasted lamb.
