About the wine
Château La Favière presents great ready-to-drink Bordeaux wines full of power and elegance, which touch all senses with their harmony. Château la Faviere is located in Saint-Surin sur l'Isle in the Saint-Emilion area. The typical Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties grow on 18.5 hectares. The soil is a mixture of sand and gravel, with a layer of clay in the subsoil. Thanks to the oceanic climate, the grapes ripen perfectly.

Tasting note
60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon come together to make this harmonious, very sustainable wine. After 12 months of aging in oak barriques, it shows a generous, black-red color and a bouquet of great precision, which combines the sweet aromas of ripe berries with the autumnal scent of undergrowth. The palate is surrounded by delicate harmony and a nice volume of dense and mild tannins. A wine that lingers for a long time.

Goes well with grilled or fried lamb.
