About the wine
The Maison Champy was founded in 1720 and is therefore the oldest winery in Burgundy. Located in the heart of the historic town of Beaune, Maison Champy is internationally known for the outstanding quality of its Grand Crus of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. In order to preserve the vineyards and exceptional terroirs, the winery is converted to organic farming.

Tasting note
Golden yellow with green reflections. On the nose, balanced aromas of green apple, lemon zest and grapefruit as well as fine toasted notes. Rich and very fresh on the palate, with aromas of citrus, lychee, nutmeg and mineral notes. Presents, perfectly balanced acidity and endless aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with scallop carpaccio and lobster à l'orange.
Vinification
The wine is made from grapes from a single vineyard of only 0.8 ha. It then matures in barrique barrels for 24 months. Only 600 bottles are produced!
