About the wine
The Pinot Grigio in abruzzo has a dark skin. Abruzzo is in the central part of Italy and embraces alot of sun during the year. Pasquale Caldora, Novaripa oenologist says "Vinification is the miror of our territory", therefore our PG with a short maceration on the skin becomes achieve the "ramato" (Amber) color. It's our way of making an Orange wine mantaining all the freshness.

Crisp and juicy with flavors of ripe pear and green apple, balanced by a touch of citrus zest and a hint of almond on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Grilled seafood, light pasta dishes, fresh salads, and mild cheeses
Vinification
Vinification: the grapes harvested by hand,
after the crushing phase, are cooled and left
in contact with the skins for about 8/12 hours
(cryomaceration). Separation of the grapes
with soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation
at a controlled temperature of 15 -18 °C.
Ageing: in stainless steel with batonnage.
