About the wine

In 1984, Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisti planted just 2 hectares. Today and numerous top ratings later - including the first Italian wine with 100 points at Parker and Wine Spectator - 30 hectares are continued by daughter Simena and stepson Stefano Fascolla as passionately as they are willing to experiment. Minimal intervention is carried out in the cellar. During aging, however, depending on the grape variety, wine and vintage, the right choice was selected from the entire range with an unmistakable feeling, from clay amphora to the double use of new barrels. And even if a lot of wood is used, this is just an ornament in all the fantastic splendor that Merlot and Co. unfold in the Metallifere Hills in the upper Maremma. Splendor and grandeur in their most beautiful form!
