Tasting note
Peter Sisseck is very satisfied with Pingus 2022 and says that years of optimising vineyard work have meant that they are able to create something great every year. The hardest part is keeping your balance in warmer years, and this year has succeeded perfectly. The wine has a wonderful freshness and precision, which once again shows that Peter is one of the most brilliant oenologists in the world.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fine cuts of meat, aged cheese, stews, game, beef, lamb.
Vinification
Harvesting by hand with careful selection in the vineyard and in the cellar. Unstemble by hand. Fermentation with succulent yeasts. Pingus 2021 is only aged in used barrels that were previously used for PSI.
