About the wine

The Hess Select brand represents premium wines with California Denomination of Origin. Select wines form the backbone of our winemaking art. Lake County is ideal for Sauvignon Blanc thanks to its well-drained and volcanic-gravelly soils. In 1978, Donald M. Hess acquired the first cultivated areas in California's Napa Valley, on the hills of Mount Veeder, and began building the vineyard, which today covers approx. 1000 ha. www.hesscollection.com

Tasting note
Medium yellow with greenish reflections. Aromas of gooseberries and kiwi play beautifully with aromas of lychee, lemongrass and ruby grapefruit. Nice harmony.
Culinary recommendation
Thanks to its acidity, it goes well with salty and sweet combinations, fresh basil and tomatoes, salads and fresh goat cheese.
