About the wine
Der Name „Voyage“ ist eine Hommage an die Zeit des Winzers in Burgund. Sein Chardonnay Voyage schmeckt natürlich nicht wie ein Chablis – schliesslich wächst er in Südtirol. Doch all die Erfahrungen, die er auf seiner Reise gesammelt hat, spiegeln sich in diesem einzigartigen Wein wider. „Voyage“, ein passenderer Name könnte kaum gewählt sein.

Tasting note
You’ll notice fresh aromas of ripe yellow apple, pear, and citrus zest, with subtle hints of white flowers, toasted almonds, and a touch of flint. On the palate, it’s precise and mineral-driven, lively and fresh, with a creamy texture and nicely integrated wood notes. The long, smooth finish blends finesse with alpine elegance, giving this wine its own special vibe.
Culinary recommendation
Pairs beautifully with delicate fish dishes like pan-seared pike-perch, sea bass, or scallops. It’s also great with herb or porcini risotto, light poultry, veal, and creamy pasta dishes. If you’re into cheese, it works wonders with aged soft cheeses or classic South Tyrolean cuisine with a modern twist.
Vinification
After pressing the whole grapes, the wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation in wooden barrels. A quarter of the barrels are new. It then ages 12 months in 500L barrels (tonneaux) followed by another 6 months on the full lees in stainless steel tanks.
