Tasting note
Intense ruby red in the glass. The bouquet impresses with aromas of cherries, plums, black currants and tobacco. The taste has a great structure, complex, with opulent fruit and velvety tannins, persistent and with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, pork, game
Vinification
15% of grapes are harvested when overripe. This is followed by a 3-week mash fermentation, a subsequent fermentation at a controlled temperature of 24-26 °C and malolactic fermentation in barriques. The aging takes place for 9-12 months in French and American oak barrels.
