Dalton Estate Fume Blanc 2019 - Dalton Winery

About the wine

The “Dalton Fumé Blanc” presents a wonderful boquete of citrus fruits and guava, which comes out with a soft acidity and notes of oak. A light and fruity white wine with a lingering and refreshing finish. This Fumé Blanc is a cuvée of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes that grow on the two vineyards “Kerem Ben Zimra” and “Safsufa” in Upper Galilee and on an additional vineyard “Elkosh”, in the western part of the Galil. The wine first ferments in 500 liter barrels and then also in steel tanks, with a large part of the wine also undergoing malolactic fermentation. A “Dalton Estate Fumé Blanc” bottle is ready to drink immediately after purchase and should best be consumed within the first few years. Enjoy this fruity white wine with light dishes such as a salmon fillet with spinach, spicy tartare or with a green salad with mozzarella.
