When fall arrives, a special moment begins in the Swiss vineyards: the grape harvest. Would you like to be part of the highlight of the wine year? And experience first-hand how grapes are turned into wine? On two weekends in September you have the opportunity to do so!
The grape harvest is the biggest event of the wine year - neighbors, the winemaker's family and friends of a winery actually come together for it.
Now vineyards all over Switzerland open their doors on two weekends to welcome you to the grape harvest. This gives you the opportunity to be part of this highlight of the wine year.
In addition to the active grape harvest in the vines, you will gain an insight into wine production, go on a tour of the wine cellar and taste local wines. The experience is rounded off with a regional meal together.
The “On the pulse of the harvest” event to celebrate the grape harvest takes place at the end of September - this time on September 21/22 and September 28/29, 2024.
For the Grape Harvest Days, around 30 wineries throughout Switzerland will open their doors, including Domaine Pierre Fonjallaz in the Vaud region and the Plaschy winery in Valais.
Entry is available from CHF 49 for adults, from CHF 19 for 10 to 16-year-olds and free for children. Tickets are available now.
If you can't make it to the vineyards, you can also get our Swiss favorites directly into your glass...
