Tasting note
Bright amber color. On the nose, you'll find dried fruit, floral hints, honey, spices, and subtle oxidative notes. On the palate, the long skin contact gives the wine a bold structure, noticeable tannins, and a fuller body. A slightly grippy mouthfeel and unique, complex character make for a truly special tasting experience.
Culinary recommendation
Pairs great with sushi, sashimi, tempura, grilled yakitori skewers, miso-glazed fish, Japanese curry, and matcha desserts. Also a perfect match for Asian dishes, spicy foods, grilled veggies, and creamy cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes come from the Alforins Valley, about 750 meters above sea level and roughly 50 km from the Mediterranean. The whole white grapes stay on the skins during fermentation, giving the wine its signature orange color, extra structure, fine tannins, and aromatic complexity.
