About the wine
Do you already know the strong Carignan Syir Isola Dei Nuraghi IGT with the 2014 vintage? If not, it's time! Picturesque and sunny landscapes in Sardinia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Pala conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this carignan with strong lamb stew or duck.
Tasting note
Bright garnet red with purple hues. Harmonious scent of ripe red berries, fine smoke and spice notes; full-bodied on the palate with a fine structure. Quite soft tannins, pleasant acidity and fruit, pure berry aromas, some smoke and fine spiciness, which gives the wine its typical character and finesse. Powerful, warm and velvety in a fairly sustainable finish; dry.
Culinary recommendation
Goes perfectly with grilled meats, roasts, spicy and spicy appetizers and aged cheeses.
Vinification
A few words about vinification: The wine matures for eight months in used, small oak barrels.
