About the wine
Beautiful and sunny landscapes in Mendoza give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Argentinean winery Escorihuela Gascon conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. With this strong red wine 2015 — 1884 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Grown Mendoza, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with ribeye steak or pizza with mushrooms.

Tasting note
Ruby red. Complex aromas of ripe, red fruits such as cassis and notes of dark chocolate and some coffee coming from barriques. Intense, long-lasting with a nice long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with meat dishes, pasta and cheese.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. 8-month aging in French barriques.
