Tasting note
Ruby red color. Aromatic and fresh on the nose, with pronounced minerality and notes of red cherries, raspberries and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, lots of freshness, lightness and intense, complex aromas. An extremely elegant vintage that was exclusively vinified with the autochthonous Callet grape variety.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aged cheese, game and beef.
Vinification
Vinified at 50% each in stainless steel tanks and in 2500 liter wooden barrels. Then aged for 12 months in new French 600-liter wooden barrels. Only 16,000 bottles were bottled.
