Tasting note
The assemblage of Collection 242 is based on Chardonnay grapes, whose harvest was very successful in 2017. The Chardonnay was extremely ripe and was therefore able to give the wine composition a wonderful sweetness and notes of ripe fruit with a woody touch. On the palate, the wine is generous and mature with the abundance typical of large Chardonnays. The Pinot Noir and Meunier grapes from the Marne Valley enhance the tasty, supple, juicy and generous character of this wine. The finish is beautifully dynamic and fresh.
Culinary recommendation
It is ideal as an aperitif, but also as an accompaniment to light starters, fish or mussels.
