About the wine
Sunny and fertile landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Antichi Vigneti di Cantalupo conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The outstanding Nebbiolo 2009 — Abate di Cluny Colline Novaresi DOC is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. Tasting note
The Clunien monks entertained in the village of Ghemme on the southern foothills of Monte Rosa monastic branch with a vineyard to make the wine not to have to miss even far away from Burgundian homeland. The local and historical winegrower Alberto Arlunno prefers to walk on historical paths - including his new wine Abate di Cluny. His Antichi Winery Vigneti di Cantalupo has long been a Piedmont lover Term for his classic, long-lasting Nebbiolo wines. With the Abate di Cluny, Arlunno takes care of a trail fresher style - very elegant and thanks to juicy melting pleasantly accessible.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, beef, veal, venison, pork and grilled meats.
Vinification
Die Vinifikation fand wie folgt statt: Die Clunienser Mönche unterhielten in der Ortschaft Ghemme auf den südlichen Ausläufern des Monte Rosa einen klösterlichen Ableger mitsamt einem Rebberg, um den Wein auch fern der burgundischen Heimat nicht missen zu müssen. Der orts- und geschichtskundige Weinbauer Alberto Arlunno wandelt vorzugsweise auf historischen Pfaden - so auch mit seinem neuen Wein Abate di Cluny. Sein Weingut Antichi Vigneti di Cantalupo ist Piemont-Freunden schon lange ein Begriff für seine klassischen, langlebigen Nebbiolo-Weine. Mit dem Abate di Cluny pflegt Arlunno einen um eine Spur frischeren Stil - sehr elegant und dank saftigem Schmelz angenehm zugänglich.
