About the wine
Give yourself and your guests a treat for the senses with the first-class Aglianico del Vulture DOC La Firma from 2010! Fertile and blooming landscapes in Basilicata give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantine del Notaio conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity.
Tasting note
Concentrated, almost impenetrable ruby red. Enveloping bouquet with distinct notes of sandalwood, cassis and ripe berries. On the palate, La Firma shows a perfect interplay of sweet fruit, sophisticated vanilla and chocolate aromas and ethereal notes. A powerful wine, with strong, fine tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Passt zu Rindfleisch, Schokolade, Wild und Grill.
Vinification
The must is macerated for a long period of 20 days. The wine is then aged for one year, partly in barriques and partly in French oak tonneaux.
