About the wine
The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Casa Santos has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the hallmarks of this red wine, which originates in the sunny landscape of Extremadura. We have a special, dominant Shiraz from 2016 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Shiraz with roasted vegetables or game.
Tasting note
Ruby red. Black fruit aromas on the nose. Ripe red fruits on the palate with notes of chocolate, vanilla and spices. A wine with smooth and elegant tannins, beautiful complexity and a long-lasting aftertaste. Good aging potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, lamb, spicy dishes, mature cheeses and hard cheeses.
Vinification
12 months in French and American oak barriques.
