About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Zenato is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the flourishing and fertile Veneto countryside. With this distinctive Merlot 2015 — Alanera Veronese IGT, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Merlot is excellent to serve with poultry or slightly spicy red meat.
Tasting note
Color: Rich purple Aroma: Intense bouquet of ripe cherries, plums and spices with subtle coffee and tobacco notes. Character: Full-bodied, with velvety tannins. The fruity components are also excellent on the palate. Long, elegant finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat, lamb stew, meatloaf and aged cheese.
