Tasting note
Intensives Kirschrot mit einigen roten Tönen. Im Gaumen sehr kräftig und recht opulent, warme Aromen, viel Frucht, trotz seiner Kraft sehr geschmeidig und edel, reife dunkle Beeren, viel Schmelz, feine Kaffee- und Schokoladenoten, bleibt sehr lange hängen, fantastischer Abgang. Ein wahres Wein- Schwergewicht, Genuss pur und ein Schmeichler!

Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at slightly chilled 15°-17°C.
Vinification
Die sehr alten Reben werden in der typischen, sehr extensiven Busch-Erziehung auf 700 - 1000 M.ü.M., auf sehr kalkhaltigen Böden kultiviert. Von Hand geerntet, auf der Maische vergoren, 15 Monate in französischen und ein kleiner Teil in amerikanischen Barrique ausgebaut.
