About the wine
The history of the Massimago winery began in 2003 when the young agronomist and entrepreneur Camilla Rossi Chauvenet started her own project at the Massimago winery, which has been owned by her family since 1883. Classic Valpolicella wines such as Amarone, Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella Ripasso and Valpolicella DOC are produced. With lots of energy, creative ideas and pep, Camilla is able to breathe new life and lots of character into these classics. Extraordinary and extremely high-quality wines are an absolute secret tip from Valpolicella!
Tasting note
Intense ruby red. Distinctive nose of wild berries, plums, black cherries, dark chocolate and black pepper. Dry on the palate with soft tannins and balanced acidity. Amarone has a full body and has a long-lasting finish with aromas of cherries and coffee.
