Tasting note
Very dark ruby red, almost black. The bouquet reveals intense, diverse aromas that remind us of fully ripe fruit, fine spices and floral notes. The juicy tannins and the dense, almost creamy structure leave an impression of warmth, power and elegance on the palate. A wonderful wine full of character, characterized by its unique terroir, - structured and with ripe, racy, well-integrated tannins. The sensory impression impresses with a complex aroma that seduces the palate right away with a lot of melting and complexity and ends in a long finale full of power and class. However, it will only be able to fully exploit its full potential in a few years.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with classic Italian cuisine such as game and braised dishes, grilled meats, lamb rack and gigot, roast, stew, risotto and aged hard cheese.
Vinification
The aging takes place in barriques for around 18 months. This makes the wine more complex and elegant. After a further 6-12 months of aging in the bottle, this rarity goes on sale.
