About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery San Rustico has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the beautiful and blooming countryside of Veneto. If you want to surprise a wine connoisseur, then with this dominant Corvina 2010 — Amarone "Gaso" DOC! Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Corvina with roasts or hearty meat dishes.
Tasting note
The Amarone Gaso shines with an intense garnet red color and a warm scent of plums, cherries and a touch of bitter almond. On the palate, it impresses with fine tannins and aromas of cloves, licorice and light raisin tones. Long-lasting finish and good shelf life.

Vinification
After selective manual harvesting in the Gaso vineyard, the grapes are dried on wooden racks under the roof for 3 months. The grapes then go through traditional mash fermentation before being stored in large oak barrels and barriques for 36 months, followed by 12 months of bottle aging.
