Tasting note
Beautiful and popular Greek red wine. The addition of the Greek variety Agiorgitiko Borntoleziko Duett from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot gives the wine the incomparable Mediterranean warmth. Dynamic tannins and a long, gentle finish round off the picture of this high-quality wine.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat but especially with lamb chops or oven-braised leg of lamb. A treat combined with a beef casserole in red sauce or soft, ripe cheese such as brie or camembert.
Vinification
To balance the fruit and oak, the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 25% of which are new.
