About the wine
The Albert Mathier & Fils winery is a family business that has been committed to quality and tradition for 70 years. The Salgescher Arena offers ideal conditions for white and red specialities. The Arvine is a vine that demands everything from winemakers, climate and soil. It sprouts early on, which is why it is sensitive to late frosts.
Tasting note
Color: pale yellow Smell: intense scent reminiscent of exotic fruits, such as pineapple and lime. But notes of grapefruit and honey are also noticeable. Taste: The Aphrodine® is full-bodied, refreshing and lively with mineral and grapefruit aromas on the palate. Two main components determine the tasting: salt and grapefruit, which make the wine an exceptional treat.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, various starters, fish dishes, caviar, poultry, cheese and Asian dishes.
Vinification
Controlled fermentation without biological acid degradation. In accordance with AOC regulations and the quality requirements of the Albert Mathier wine family.
