About the wine
This distinctive red wine 2015 — Ars Magna Merlot Lazio IGP crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. The winemaker from the Italian winery Ômina Romana masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the fertile and blooming landscape in Lazio. Tasting note
It is grown in a special plot with clayy-loamy soil on the outer edge of our “amphitheater” overlooking the sea, where the Bordeaux variety par excellence achieves an excellent and extremely rare maturity of the grapes. The combination of different clones and rootstocks of Cabernet Franc, planted on a hill specially reserved for this variety, taking into account the location and soil conditions, and the constant manual maintenance in the vineyard make this Ars Magna wine a powerful revelation.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2030. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Ars Magna Merlot Lazio IGP goes well with duck, slightly spicy red meat and poultry.
