Tasting note
A masterpiece from Rafael Palacios. On the nose, a complex bouquet of ripe stone fruit, loquats, dates and blossom honey, accompanied by the scent of fresh garden herbs. On the palate, it is dense with distinctive fruit aromas, strong, mineral notes and fresh, balanced acidity. The aftertaste is long, intense and aromatic.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the white wine is slightly chilled 10°-12°C.
Vinification
Rafael Palacios's masterpiece has already been hailed as Spain's best white wine. The As Sortes comes from six small “varieties” with an average of 40-year-old Godello vines and is aged in barriques for 8 months.
