About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Azienda Agricola Brunetti has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the flourishing and fertile Tuscan countryside. With the fine Aulo Rosso Toscana IGT from 2014, you will positively surprise your guests.
Tasting note
A wine of medium to strong character, ruby-red in color, with a long-lasting fruity aroma.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta, pizza and chicken sausage.
Vinification
The special soil and the proximity to the sea give the Sangiovese, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties all their strength. The harvest starts at the beginning of September with the Syrah grapes and ends with the Cabernet Sauvignon harvest in mid-October. The ripe grapes are harvested after their physiological maturity and then the traditional maceration takes place. When the must is tapped, the wines are immediately filled into used wooden barrels to carry out malolactic fermentation. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is cut and then aged in steel barrels for at least a further 12 months. The wine is then slightly clarified and bottled and then left in the bottle until May until it is released for sale.
