About the wine

The landscape in Lower Austria is hilly and mountainous, whose breath-taking expanses don't fit on a postcard, but in a bottle. With a lot of feeling and experience, the winemaker from the Austrian Weingut Hagn ensures that his craft inspires and impresses you. Tasting note
Spicy fruity nose, black cherries, plums and dark berries, underlined with notes of cinnamon bark, cardamom and a delicate smoky cedarwood touch. On the palate, again, with ripe cherry fruit and a fine chocolate mocha note. Dense, with beautiful depth and fine tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with slightly stronger dishes, such as fried duck breast with cherry sauce, braised ox cheek, or even game dishes such as pigeon or venison with spicy jus.
